Most house cats eat commercial cat food every day. So it only makes sense that a healthy pet food can be one of the biggest contributers to overall health. Trying to find honest answers about what really is good for cats is extremely difficult. And actually finding out what goes into some pet food can be shocking.

There have been reported studies that state %60 of dogs over the age of 6 will develop some form of cancer. In some cases there is little doubt that contaminated pet food contributed. Cat food needs to be preserved but bht and other toxic chemicals should have no place in any creatures food. Healthier preservatives can include Vitamin C and Vitamin E, both of which work quite well and are healthy for your pet.

What's right for your cat is ultimately your decision. Finding a cat food company that you trust with your cats health can be difficult. But, the rewards are great, and the possible health costs for your pet are priceless.
