You buy your cat that expensive comfortable looking bed and she still prefers curling up in the clean laundry after it leaves the dryer? No problem, now there are heated cat beds. Plug 'em in and watch kitty purr. Or for a more mobile bed, there are models you can just heat in the microwave and they stay warm for hours.

Cat beds with catnip in them. These you need to be careful with because all cats react differently to catnip. It can relax some cats yet make others very hyper. Kittens up to a certain age seem to be completely immune to catnip. A bed that makes your cat hyperactive is probably not what you are looking for.

Your cat might be comfortable with a simple soft pillow-type bed.

If noise in your home disturbs your cat, or if she just needs a place to escape from the kids sometimes while taking a cat nap, then an enclosed cat bed might be perfect. A cat bed that goes inside a closet may also be a good fit in this situation.

Cat's seem to have the ability to nap whenever and wherever they choose, and look mighty comfortable while doing it. In fact it might seem almost impossible to make a cat any more comfortable than they already look. But like me, many cat owners will feel the need to try and improve upon perfection by getting a cat pet bed to maybe make that nap a little better.
